For the first time since 2019, Southern Miss is going bowling on the back of its 20-10 road win at Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday.

The key sequence coming in the fourth quarter, starting with a Brendan Toles blocked punt followed by a 33-yard touchdown run on the very next play, courtesy of Frank Gore Jr., who went off for a career-high 199 yards on 24 carries.
