Southern Miss football gives Miami first-half scare- WXXV 25

Coming off the longest overtime game in the history of Southern Miss football, the Golden Eagles took on Miami for the first time in program history in a match up headlined by star running back Frank Gore Jr. against his father’s alma mater.

The Black and Gold rising to the moment in South Florida, scoring the game’s first touchdown early in the second quarter on a 32-yard bomb from Zach Wilcke, starting in place of the injured Ty Keyes, to Jason Brownlee. Brownlee had a game-high 102 yards on five receptions.
