Infrared cameras were used to ensure no animals remained hidden inside walls or furniture. Neighbors were aware of barking but unaware of the scale. Animal control and the sheriff’s office are investigating, with charges pending. Rescued dogs were taken to a local emergency shelter for treatment before moving to adoption centers.
