Scattered showers return to Louisville Tuesday
SUMMARY: Scattered showers and rounds of rain are expected in Louisville Tuesday, impacting the morning commute after the Memorial Day holiday. Light rain is moving in Monday night, with showers increasing Tuesday morning and heavier downpours possible late Tuesday, potentially causing localized flash flooding in usual spots. Despite the rain, widespread flooding is unlikely due to previous dry conditions. Monday is forecasted to be mostly dry with highs near 77°F, making for a pleasant Memorial Day. After the wet Tuesday, drier, sunnier weather with warmer temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s is expected later in the week.
