Amidst all the trade rumors, Alvin Kamara came out and had his best game of the season, racking up 158 yards from scrimmage on 27 touches to go along with his first three touchdowns of the season. This was all part of a complete team effort for the Saints who racked up four sacks in their first shutout since week 15 of last season en route to a 24-0 domination over Dennis Allen’s former…

SUMMARY: As generative AI tools like ChatGPT become widespread in academia, Duke University offers free access to ChatGPT-4 and launched DukeGPT, ensuring privacy and research support. Faculty responses vary: some, like professors Carlson and Engelhard, encourage AI use with transparency, viewing it as a learning aid, while others, especially in humanities, warn it may hinder critical thinking and self-expression. To counter misuse, some faculty have introduced oral presentations and in-class exams. Students find AI helpful for explanations and productivity but caution against over-reliance. The future role of AI in education remains debated, balancing benefits with risks to intellectual growth and academic integrity.

Marsquakes indicate a solid core for the red planet, just like Earth

www.wxxv25.com – Associated Press – 2025-09-06 12:00:00

SUMMARY: Scientists, using seismic data from NASA’s InSight lander, have discovered that Mars has a solid inner core composed mainly of iron and nickel, similar to Earth’s. The inner core extends about 380 miles (613 km) from the planet’s center and is surrounded by a larger liquid outer core reaching up to 1,100 miles (1,800 km). The study, led by Daoyuan Sun, suggests Mars’ core crystallization may still be ongoing. Despite these findings, questions remain about the core’s exact composition and structure. With InSight no longer operational, further seismic data is unavailable, limiting deeper understanding of Mars’ interior and magnetic history.
