SUMMARY: Good Monday morning! Meteorologist Justin War provides an early forecast indicating a cloudy start with scattered rain chances, rising to 40% after lunch and potentially continuing into the evening. An upper-level low is expected to influence the weather, particularly east of I-35 by midday. Afternoon temperatures will reach around 92°F, with due rain effects keeping them in check. Over the next five days, some areas, particularly near the coast, could see up to an inch of rain. Rain chances persist throughout the week and into next weekend, maintaining the potential for downpours.

It’ll be hit-or-miss type activity, but it’ll help to keep temps in check.
