Project SEARCH interns hired full-time at J. Allen Automotive in milestone moment
SUMMARY: Two young men, Carsten Dice and Anzio Sterling, have been hired full-time at J. Allen Automotive, marking a milestone for the Project SEARCH program. This workforce initiative, run by the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services, helps young adults with learning disabilities transition into meaningful employment. The program includes real-world job training through three 10-week rotations. Carsten now works as an experienced liaison, while Anzio is an express technician. Since its 2019 launch in Mississippi, Project SEARCH has expanded to 28 statewide sites, including the world’s first automotive dealership host site. Both Carsten and Anzio exemplify the program’s success.

Gulfport church serves lunch, thanks officers
