Gautier won a close 28-27 match against Wayne County to host Brookhaven in the Class 5A title game. Lastly, Poplarville triumphed over McComb 41-21 to reach the Class 4A championship against Forest.

George County’s Jeremiah Bolton scored a game-high 22 points, but the Rebels couldn’t recover from an early deficit. Pascagoula’s girls improved to 4-4, while the boys improved to 8-2. Both teams will face Hancock next.
