SUMMARY: A series of Thanksgiving basketball tournaments took place across the “Southern Six” with teams achieving mixed results before the holiday break. The Picayune Maroon Tide boys improved to a 5-1 record with wins over West Jones and St. Stanislaus. St. Stanislaus (SSC) is 3-2 after beating Sumrall and receiving double-digit contributions from Paxton Debardeleben, Max Baria, and Alan Gilliam. In Gulfport's holiday tourney, the host team recovered with a win after an initial loss. Biloxi girls dominated the PCB Thanksgiving Tournament in Florida, maintaining a perfect season start at 7-0, with significant contributions from Zaniya Johnson, Nakena Terry, and Aaliyah Davidson. Pascagoula and Gautier girls are set for an upcoming game in a one-day event at Pearl River Community College.

Dees joins Baseball coaching staff
