Saucier men arrested, charged with supplying deadly dose of fentanyl
SUMMARY: Two men from Saucier, Cameron Coffman and Christopher Bunch, were arrested and charged with distributing fentanyl that caused a fatal overdose on June 7 in Harrison County. Deputies and the Harrison County Narcotics Task Force responded to the overdose on Saucier-Lizana Road, where a 35-year-old man was found dead with fentanyl in his possession. The investigation led to the arrests, which involved D’Iberville Police, Homeland Security, and the DEA. The charges are filed under Parker’s Law, passed in 2022, which imposes harsher sentences for anyone distributing fentanyl that results in an overdose death.
A search warrant was executed at two different locations in Saucier, and Coffman and Bunch were arrested.
