OXFORD — Quincy McGee is coming back to his home state.
The Hattiesburg native and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College product announced on Sunday afternoon via Instagram that he’s transferring to Ole Miss after two seasons at UAB.
McGee earned second-team All-Conference USA honors last season for the Blazers, playing almost all of his snaps at right guard.
Pro Football Focus awarded McGee a 71.1 pass-blocking grade on the season and a 60.6 run-blocking grade. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
