SUMMARY: A head-on crash in Lawrence County last night resulted in two individuals being hospitalized. Fire rescue crews responded to the scene on Buffalo Road near Valley Road, where the occupants of one vehicle were severely pinned and the car was engulfed in flames. Medical helicopters were deployed to transport the victims to different hospitals for treatment. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.

Two people were flown to trauma centers Friday night following a collision in Lawrence County that sparked a vehicle fire.
