Woman’s personalized plate keeps getting car flagged as stolen
SUMMARY: An Oklahoma woman, Trisha Grandson, received a personalized license plate reading “I LOVE JESUS,” but it has repeatedly been flagged by police as stolen. The plate matches one linked to a stolen truck in Dallas from nearly a year ago. Despite verification from Service Oklahoma that her plate was valid, automated law enforcement cameras continue to flag it, leading to multiple police stops. Dallas police confirmed the plate is connected to an ongoing investigation and have asked Oklahoma authorities to remove the flag, but it remains due to the active case. Service Oklahoma recommends replacing the plate to avoid further issues.
