SUMMARY: A crime spree involving stolen cars escalated into multiple armed carjackings across state lines. On April 6, a Hyundai Santa Fe was stolen in Cahokia Heights, Illinois, and used to commit two carjackings in St. Louis, including one targeting a man outside his Dodge Charger. Later, a mother and son in Cahokia Heights were threatened at gunpoint by suspects, who stole their car. The stolen vehicle was found damaged hours later. One 17-year-old suspect has been arrested, but authorities are still searching for the others. A GoFundMe has been set up for the victim.

Police are making connections between a terrifying series of events in two cities that involve armed teens, stolen cars and frightened families.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police have now confirmed that two carjackings and one car theft are connected. FOX 2’s Taylor Harris reports.

St. Louis forecast: Drought continues and temps are lower

Published

on

www.youtube.com – KSDK News – 2025-08-31 07:54:10

SUMMARY: The St. Louis forecast shows drought conditions continuing with slightly lower temperatures. August had a mix of above, below, and near-normal temperatures, defined as within 2 degrees of normal. Today’s high will be near 82°F with a good mix of sun and clouds, and a low around 61°F with light northeast winds. The allergy index is moderate for weeds and mold, but none for grasses and trees. A small chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday could help extend the fall foliage by keeping leaves on trees longer, preventing early leaf drop due to dry conditions. Cooler temperatures follow later in the week.

St. Louis could use some rainfall.
