Mannery has lived a colorful that includes being in the first class to integrate Florence High School to being in the Navy. From his time as a Firefighter, an executive at Malaco Record, a poet, a songwriter, a pastor of We Are One United Methodist Church and a founding member of the world-famous Mississippi Mass Choir, Jerry has done it all.

Pearl man sentenced to 32 years for selling fentanyl

SUMMARY: Michael Pendelton, a Pearl man, has been to 32 years in prison after pleading guilty to selling fentanyl. He was charged with selling and conspiring to sell fentanyl in County. Pendelton was caught after an informant worked with Madison to buy oxycodone pills from him. The pills were later confirmed to contain fentanyl by the Mississippi Lab. District Attorney Bubba Bramlett emphasized the danger of fentanyl overdoses, especially among young people, and urged to to their about the risks of buying pills from street dealers.

Woman accused of dragging Gulfport police with vehicle

SUMMARY: 20-year-old Dangel Mae Octavia Wills for dragging two with her vehicle after a disturbance call. She refused to her vehicle when instructed, then dragged two officers before fleeing and a enforcement vehicle. After a brief chase, Wills was apprehended by a police K9. She admitted to hitting law enforcement vehicles and not intending to comply with officers' commands. Wills was charged with four counts of assaulting law enforcement officers and one count of fleeing, and she is being held on a $250,000 bond at the Adult Detention Center.
