MGCCC celebrates 13 students named 2024 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholars

SUMMARY: Mississippi Coast Community College has announced that 13 of its have received the prestigious 2024 Coca-Cola of Promise Scholarships from Phi Theta Kappa. This recognition is awarded to new members who excel in academics, leadership, and community service. The scholarship program offers $1,000 to assist with educational expenses. Nationwide, 210 students were selected from nearly 1,500 applicants. Notable scholars from MGCCC include Angela Cothern (biology), Ciara Ano (interior design), and Olivia Greenough (nursing), among others, who hold significant leadership roles within campus and demonstrate strong commitment to their fields and communities.
