
Shad White, the Mississippi official who helped uncover the largest public fraud in state history, has filed papers with the state Republican Party to run again for state auditor.
At 37, White is the youngest statewide elected official and is considered by some to be a rising star in Republican politics. He seemingly won’t be climbing the political ladder this year though, instead seeking voters’ approval to remain auditor.
