SUMMARY: Cody Myers has been appointed to lead the Strength and Conditioning program at Mississippi Gulf Coast, marking a return to where his community college journey began. Myers played collegiate football in the same conference and earned multiple degrees at Mississippi College. He previously served as an assistant coach and intern at Mississippi College and Tri County Academy. With a background as an All-District offensive lineman and All-Gulf South Conference special teams player, Myers brings substantial experience and enthusiasm. Reign Of Gold: OLA Claims 17th State Volleyball Title, Third In A Row
SUMMARY: The Our Lady Academy Crescents of Bay St. Louis secured their 17th state volleyball championship, triumphing over Belmont in four sets during the Class 3A finals, finishing the season with a 41-4 record. They are the only team from the Southern Six to win a title, while Ocean Springs, Hancock, and East Central fell short in their respective finals. Ocean Springs lost a five-set thriller to Lewisburg, Hancock was defeated by Lake Cormorant, and East Central lost to Lafayette. Additionally, St. Patrick won the girls Class I swimming title, and Pearl River Central captured the boys Class II championship.

Gulfport Plays Up To Its Strong Second-Half Reputation And Surges Over D’Iberville 38-19
