SUMMARY: In the last two hours, new details have emerged about an attack outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel. Authorities identified 37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger, a highly decorated Army soldier, as the person of interest. A Cybertruck caught fire and exploded, killing one and injuring seven. Livelsberger, who served in Afghanistan and Ukraine, had been on approved leave and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before the explosion. Investigators suspect the explosion was caused by fireworks or a bomb, unrelated to the vehicle itself. Tesla’s Elon Musk is cooperating with the FBI to aid the investigation.

The decorated Army soldier who drove a Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside of a Las Vegas, Nevada, hotel suffered a gunshot wound to the head before the massive blast, officials said Thursday.

SUMMARY: Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti is spearheading a lawsuit with over a dozen states against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The rule, established after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, adds barriers that prevent states from using reproductive health data in criminal or civil inquiries. Skrmetti criticized the rule as politically motivated and impractical, seeking to have the court declare it unlawful and halt its enforcement.

These hogs dig up essential plants and cause considerable agricultural damage. Beginning January 21, a collaborative effort by several government agencies, including the USDA and wildlife departments, will initiate a campaign to reduce the feral hog population using aerial operations and bait trapping. Visitors should expect increased official presence in the area this winter to address the issue.
