www.youtube.com – KSDK News – 2025-09-08 00:42:33

SUMMARY: Former St. Louis Rams linebacker Marshall McFadden has found a second career as a NASCAR jackman. After playing 10 NFL games over three seasons, mostly with the Rams, McFadden transitioned to NASCAR following injuries and a stint in Canada. Intrigued by pit crew workouts and teamwork, he pursued pit crew school and quickly advanced, signing a contract in NASCAR. As a jackman for AJ Almendinger’s No. 16 car, McFadden uses his physical skills but emphasizes zero margin for error, with split seconds impacting race outcomes and millions of dollars. Now, eight years in, he continues to excel in this demanding role.

If you think NASCAR jackman Marshall McFadden looks like he could be an NFL linebacker instead of changing tires on pit road, well, you’d be exactly right. McFadden played 10 games in the NFL over three seasons, mostly on special teams, and ended his career in 2014 in St. Louis with the Rams.
