A medical helicopter was badly damaged, with its blades bent and rear torn open. Witnesses reported the tornado’s destruction happening rapidly, likening the sound to a freight train. While some homes were untouched, many others were heavily damaged. The tight-knit community, with a population of about 7,600, is coming together to support those affected, providing supplies and helping neighbors in need during this challenging time. The recovery could take weeks or months.
