SUMMARY: The rising cost of caring for aging loved ones is a heavy burden for families. Eddie has cared for his aunt Blossom, who has Alzheimer’s, for seven years, managing daily tasks and ensuring her safety with limited help. According to AARP, 53 million Americans provide such care, spending an average of $7,200 annually out-of-pocket, with the crisis expected to worsen by 2030.
