SUMMARY: The Trump administration is defending its decision to send troops to Los Angeles amid ongoing protests against immigration raids. California officials argue this deployment escalates tensions unnecessarily. Despite local opposition, hundreds of Marines continue crowd control training. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says troops help law enforcement maintain order and protect officers from violent mobs. Protests have spread nationwide, with Texas Governor Greg Abbott deploying National Guard troops ahead of demonstrations. Postpartum depression in dads | What to watch for

Published

on

www.youtube.com – KHOU 11 – 2025-06-13 21:54:45

SUMMARY: Father’s Mental Health Day follows Father’s Day on June 16, highlighting paternal postpartum depression (PPD), which affects 1 in 10 dads—and up to 1 in 2 if the mother also suffers from it. Dr. David Levine, a pediatrician and father, shared his silent struggle, emphasizing that only 2.5% of affected fathers seek help. Unlike mothers, men often show irritability, anger, or withdrawal rather than sadness or anxiety. Many internalize their feelings, making it hard to recognize symptoms. Spouses may be key to noticing signs. Resources like anonymous expert chats are available at postpartum.net to help fathers access support.

Father’s Day is June 15. Some fathers face mental health obstacles. Learn more about it in a conversation with a doctor.
