An additional $15 million is expected to be approved. The contract, ratified after KCATA’s line of credit expired, maintains current bus routes and plans to reinstate fares in 2026, with free fares for qualifying low-income riders. SUMMARY: Blair’s Social Second discusses how school today differs significantly from the past, especially with the rise of technology. Kids are online younger, with 13 now being the new 16, increasing the need to educate them about online safety. Unlike before, schools now use Chromebooks, AI, tablets, and digital tools instead of chalkboards, overhead projectors, and textbooks. Nostalgic comments recall walking to school barefoot and watching film strips or movies like Indiana Jones in class. The segment invites viewers to share how schooling has changed on Fox 2’s Facebook page and promises to share responses in the next broadcast.
