Jury deliberation is underway in Oxford capital murder trial

Neighbors reported hearing gunfire before 10 a.m. and suspected a shootout between two people. During the incident, one vehicle crashed into a gas line near North Ridge Apartments, causing a gas leak. A resident was warned to evacuate for safety. Atmos Energy and the Clinton Fire Department addressed the leak. No arrests have been made so far in connection with the shooting.
