Jackson’s weeks long boil water notice has been lifted, Gov. Tate Reeves announced Thursday at a news conference.
“We can now announce that we have restored clean water to the city of Jackson,” Reeves said. “Moving forward we will continue to monitor the system. Additional testing will be administered to ensure continued water quality.”
The boil-water notice for Jackson’s water system officially ended Thursday at 1 p.m.
