Israel-Hezbollah exchanging fire days after agreeing to pause | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Less than a week after a ceasefire began, Hezbollah fired on an Israeli military position, labeling it a defensive warning against Israeli violations. Israel accused Hezbollah of jeopardizing the ceasefire, while the IDF is considering its response. Despite the tensions, the Pentagon noted that the truce seems to be holding, intended for 60 days to allow both sides to withdraw from Southern Lebanon. Residents remain wary post-airstrikes. Meanwhile, Hamas leaders are seeking a ceasefire, with the White House hoping the Hezbollah-Israel deal will pressure Hamas to negotiate. An American-Israeli soldier, previously thought alive, was confirmed killed during the October 7th attack.

Israel and Hezbollah are, once again, exchanging fire just days after agreeing to pause the fighting in southern Lebanon.
