SUMMARY: Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues effortlessly shines on the ice, supported off-ice by Mark Russell and his wife Christy, custom suit makers in Boca Raton. Mark ensures players’ suits fit perfectly, updating measurements regularly. Rodrigues enjoys selecting fabrics while letting Mark surprise him with inside details, like a Panther-themed suit. Mark has become the unofficial suit maker for Panthers players including Ryan Lomberg, Carter Hegy, AJ Greer, and Steve Goldstein. Rodrigues even associates suits with wins or losses, developing superstitions. The suit tradition extends to his family, with his sons getting suits and his initials stitched on his shirts. A Stanley Cup final-worthy suit is now ready.

CBS News Miami’s Samantha Rivera interviewed Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues as the team gets ready to face the Edmonton Oilers.
