SUMMARY: Severe storms are expected to impact Oklahoma late Wednesday night, May 28, 2025, starting from Colorado and Kansas, moving into northern Oklahoma. The tornado risk begins at level one, increasing to two near Oklahoma City, and briefly reaching four near Harper County and Buffalo, where large hail (golf ball to ping pong size) is possible. Storms will weaken near OKC but still pose a severe threat. Isolated storms may occur in northern Oklahoma during the afternoon. These fast-moving storms will pass by 6 a.m. Thursday but could trigger additional storms later that day. Updates will be provided by meteorologist Sabrina Bates at 5:06 p.m.

KOCO meteorologist Jonathan Conder says even though Wednesday is mostly dry during the day, storms return late with a risk.

Randy earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy, owned The City Drug in Davis for over 40 years, and was a devoted advocate for small-town pharmacies. Known for his kindness, humor, and tireless community service, he held leadership roles in local organizations and received numerous awards, including the Wyeth Bowl of Hygeia. A committed Christian, he taught Sunday school and served as a deacon. Survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family, Randy’s legacy remains strong in Davis.
