SUMMARY: Heavy rain and thunderstorms with heavy downpours, lightning, and gusty winds up to 30-40 mph are expected Monday and Tuesday afternoons, potentially causing aerial flooding in low-lying areas. These storms may persist into late evening but are not expected to be severely violent. The saturated ground may lead to fallen small trees or power outages. After Tuesday, the weather will dry out, with temperatures climbing into the 90s by the Fourth of July. Independence Day itself will be mostly dry and sunny, with highs around 90°F, warm evening temperatures for fireworks, and slightly hotter weather continuing into the weekend.
