Hattiesburg, bar agree to security measures

SUMMARY: Top Five Bar and Grill in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, will soon be allowed to re-open after reaching an agreement with the city to increase security measures. The agreement, reached out of court, mandates the bar to install security cameras both inside and outside the building, limit parking to designated spaces, place a barricade at the entrance, and put up privacy fencing. The city had filed a temporary restraining order against the bar after receiving numerous disturbance calls. The city attorney stated that the goal was to ensure safety for residents and visitors, as well as address concerns of neighboring residents. The bar has 90 days to comply with the measures.
