SUMMARY: France’s National Assembly is voting on a bill to allow adults with incurable illnesses to access lethal medication for assisted dying under strict conditions. Eligible patients must be over 18, have a grave incurable illness with intolerable pain, and request the medication voluntarily. Meanwhile, the Justice Department concluded a second day of questioning Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s co-conspirator, who cooperated fully according to her lawyer.
