Published

www.youtube.com – FOX 35 Orlando – 2025-04-29 20:51:03

SUMMARY: A new robot-assisted dental surgical system, named Yomi, is revolutionizing dental implants in Central Florida. Developed by Neosis and FDA-approved, Yomi helps dentists perform implant procedures with incredible precision, reducing time from hours to minutes. The robot’s arms, guided by the dentist, make minimal incisions, ensuring a less invasive, pain-free experience for patients. Astronauts use similar technology for tool control in space. Though patients may feel nervous about robotic surgery, they report quick recoveries, with minimal discomfort. Yomi also adjusts to patient movement, enhancing accuracy and ensuring successful procedures for those needing dental implants.
