Release: Gov. Beshear Provides Update on Severe Weather
SUMMARY: Governor Andy Beshear provided an update on the severe weather in South Central Kentucky, including a tornado in Laurel County. As of May 17, 2025, 18 deaths were confirmed, with 17 in Laurel County and one in Pulaski County. Severe weather, including possible tornado, leaves at least 14 dead in Kentucky; 7 dead in Missouri
