Education officials attribute higher math scores to standards change | Georgia

Hurricane Milton results in deaths, loss of power | FOX 5 News
SUMMARY: Hurricane Milton impacted Tampa International Airport with ferocious winds, yet the city of Tampa was spared a direct hit. Airports in Fort Myers, Tampa, and Orlando remain closed but will reopen for commercial operations by Friday, serving as hubs for emergency aid and relief flights. Nearly 2,000 flights have been canceled. Reports indicate widespread damage across Florida, including impassable roads due to flooding and debris, with numerous tornado warnings issued. Time-lapse satellite footage captured abundant lightning and tornado formation, causing significant destruction, including buildings made of steel and iron being obliterated. Hurricane Milton moved through Florida on Thursday after slamming into the state as a Category 3 storm โ causing at least four deaths, flooding, and millions of people without power.
