Currently, a tropical wave is emerging off Africa with a 30% chance of slow development over the next week, moving westward near the Cape Verde Islands into warmer waters favorable for storms. Wind shear may inhibit rapid strengthening, but monitoring continues. Another potential low-pressure area near the U.S. East Coast could form weak tropical activity, though not currently highlighted by the National Hurricane Center. The Eastern Pacific is more active, with high chances of tropical depressions forming, but threats to land remain low. The season continues through November 30th.
