Just 24 hours after Gov. Tate Reeves announced that Jackson’s boil-water notice had been lifted, many people are still reluctant to drink the city’s water and worry about the validity of Thursday’s announcement.
“We can now announce that we have restored clean water to the city of Jackson,” Reeves said at his press conference Thursday. “Moving forward we will continue to monitor the system. Additional testing will be administered to ensure continued water quality.”
