Delta flight biting: Passenger explains chaos | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: A chaotic incident unfolded on a Delta flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles when an unruly passenger began attacking others. Ashley Gurney, a former Australian Rules Football player, was one of several passengers who tried to restrain the man, who was kicking and swinging uncontrollably. Despite attempts to secure him with restraints, the passenger bit Gurney on the shoulder. Additional passengers helped subdue the attacker, who was later taken to the hospital for a psych evaluation. Delta condemned the behavior, and authorities are investigating the incident. The identity of the passenger has not been released.

Shooter who attacked the CDC headquarters was a 30-year-old man from suburban Atlanta

GBI identifies Emory University, CDC shooting suspect

SUMMARY: The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) identified Patrick Joseph White, 30, from Kennesaw, as the suspect in the shooting near Emory University and CDC headquarters at Emory Point CVS. The incident, occurring late afternoon, involved shots fired inside a CVS, possibly restricted to employees, and bullets also striking CDC buildings. A Dicab County police officer, David Rose, responding to the scene, was fatally shot; he had recently joined the force and was a Marine veteran. The motive remains under investigation.
