Some storms may produce frequent lightning, small hail, and gusty winds up to 40-50 mph, but no severe weather is expected. Rain chances continue through midweek, easing by Thursday or Friday as a high-pressure ridge strengthens, bringing lower rain chances and hotter temperatures. No tropical activity is expected in the Gulf or Atlantic over the next seven days.
