Pearl River softball earns nine All-MACCC awards
SUMMARY: Following a second consecutive 40-win season, the Pearl River softball team celebrated numerous accolades as eight Wildcats were distinguished in the All-Conference teams by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC). Natalie Herrington was honored as the MACCC Pitcher of the Year and secured a First Team All-MACCC spot due to her standout performance, including a 1.69 ERA and 184 strikeouts over 169 1/3 innings. Lainee Bailey and Morgan Lavergne also earned places on the First Team All-MACCC due to their exceptional contributions. Additionally, Peyton Hoffmayer and Bryn Daughtery received Second Team honors, while Natalie Toups and Caroline Lindsey were recognized with Honorable Mentions. Coach Christie Meeks praised the hard work and dedication of the awarded players, highlighting their commitment on the field, in the classroom, and in representing Pearl River positively.

Resurrection’s Historic 1A Title Run Reaches Roadblock At Taylorsville
SUMMARY: Resurrection Catholic's attempt to win a third straight state championship ended as they were defeated by Taylorsville in the Class 1A South State championship series. George County Pours Runs In 6A South State Title Victory At PRC
