Battle of the Tigers: Jackson State and Memphis to square off in WNIT

The Jackson State women’s basketball team is heading to the postseason.

The Lady Tigers earned an automatic bid into the 2023 Women’s National Invitation Tournament following its run at the Southwestern Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament.

Jackson State (21-8, 17-1 SWAC) will take on the Memphis (20-10, 11-4 AAC) at Elma Roane Fieldhouse in Memphis, Tenn. on Thursday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. CT.

On the season, junior guard Ti’lan Boler leads Jackson State in scoring with 12.7 points per game while senior forward Angel Jackson leads the team in rebounding with 7.1 rebounds per game.
