Drier and less humid weather arrives by midweek, with highs in the mid-80s. Warmer conditions near 90° are expected around the 4th of July.

Trees fell along the fence line, but no major course damage occurred. Play was halted due to lightning within 10 miles, as safety rules require a 30-minute wait after the last strike. Friday morning crews cleaned debris for busy play later. Golfers also faced delays Friday afternoon during a tournament due to similar weather conditions. Logan Jones, a participant, noted unpredictable weather and delays are common, emphasizing the importance of seeking shelter during storms on the course.
