ERFP assistance available for all Mississippi counties
SUMMARY: Agriculture commissioner Andy Gibson is pleased that all 82 Mississippi counties have been approved for the Emergency Forest Restoration Program. This program aims to help address private forest losses and damage caused by severe drought and insect infestation. The application period for EFRP runs from April 15th to August 15th, and affected landowners are encouraged to seek assistance from their local USDA Farm Service Agency office.
