2024 Tour of Historical Churches brings community together for holiday season

Starting at Morning Star Baptist Church, participants learned about the rich histories and current offerings of these long-standing places of worship. Celebrating over a century, CH Seat continues to foster community and faith. Attendees, many longstanding followers of the event, appreciated the opportunity to reconnect with friends and engage in the holiday spirit. Organized by the Gulfport Historical Society, the tour also honored late member George Slal’s goal of uniting the community, concluding at the Gulfport Museum of History for enhanced learning.

Those attending this year’s Tour of Historical Churches in Gulfport got to learn about the rich history of four downtown churches.

Harrison Co. supervisors approve $75 million bond for Memorial Health System
