Bond set for Rankin County teen charged in 14-year-old’s death in Jackson
SUMMARY: A Rankin County teenager, Maxle Mooneyham, appeared in court on a $1.5 million bond for the shooting death of 14-year-old Cameron Horne-Crook in Jackson. His parents were removed from the courtroom after an outburst. Another suspect, John Foote, is expected in court later. Jackson man convicted of killing another over iPhone, money
SUMMARY: In Jackson, Mississippi, Terrance Longino was found guilty of first-degree murder in connection to a fatal shooting in July 2018. Longino shot 26-year-old Lee Evans multiple times over an alleged theft of a broken iPhone and $30. The body of Evans was discovered at the intersection of Eastview and Central Street. Longino faces life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday.
