Ocean Springs named Best Small Town for Shopping in USA Today contest

has been named the Best Small Town for Shopping by popular vote in the 2023 USA 10 Best ' Choice travel contest.

For four weeks, the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street- campaigned for the community to vote in the contest.

Ocean Springs was up against national competition New York, New Jersey, California, Ohio, North Carolina, Arkansas, Maine, Alabama, Minnesota, Michigan, and others for two categories.

By a popular vote, Ocean Springs won as the number one Best Small Town for Shopping and fifth for Best Small Town Cultural Scene. Rhinebeck, New York placed second for Best Small Town for Shopping.
