Mississippi honors Tuskegee Airmen
SUMMARY: The House Democratic Caucus commemorated the first ever Tuskegee Airmen Day to honor black veterans who were the first African American soldiers to successfully complete training and enter the Army Air Corps. Almost 1,000 aviators became America's first African American military pilots and worked to desegregate the workforce for soldiers. March 28 will now be recognized as Tuskegee Airmen Day. During the commemoration, the caucus called for state support for Medicaid expansion. The content also highlighted the importance of pier protection to withstand crashes.

Teen murder suspects appear in court
SUMMARY: Three Rankin County teenagers have been charged in connection with the deadly shooting of a 14-year-old victim in Jackson. Golf tournament raises funds for Habitat for Humanity
SUMMARY: The Habitat “Fore” Humanity Tournament is held to raise funds for Habitat's mission of providing affordable housing in the Pine Belt area. The goal this year is to raise $50,000 with around 50 teams participating. The funds raised will go towards completing a housing project in the Park Avenue community. Participants, like board member Trey Garraway and player Herman Dungan, highlight the importance of supporting Habitat's cause. Additionally, an online silent auction is being held in conjunction with the tournament. The auction ends on Saturday at 8 PM and can be found on WJTV.com.
