Man in custody after leading police on chase
SUMMARY: Two suspects, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested after a shooting incident that left one person dead. The investigation is ongoing. In a separate incident in Jackson, a man is in custody after leading police on a chase on I-55 near Woodrow Wilson Boulevard. The chase began when troopers tried to stop a Chevrolet Suburban traveling north on the highway. The driver fled and led them on a chase that ended near Briarwood Drive. Police are currently investigating both incidents further.

man goes missing in Belhaven area
SUMMARY: Charges are pending against Joseph Rouser tonight, as the Belhaven community searches for Dau Mabil who has been missing for over 48 hours after going for a walk in his neighborhood. Capitol Police reported that Mabil left his home in Belhaven Heights on Monday and has not been seen since. His wife mentioned he left his phone at home, which was not unusual, but she expected to hear from him by the afternoon. The community is working with Capitol Police to locate Mabil and bring him home safely.
