Kids check items off Christmas wish lists
SUMMARY: Walmart and Chick-fil-A fund a shopping spree that pairs 16 kids with police officers for a fun outing. Each child had $350 to spend at Walmart with an officer to select gifts for themselves and their family members. This event, called Shop with a Cop, helps to build stronger bonds between the officers and the kids. It also gives children a chance to interact with police officers in a positive light. The event ended with lunch at the police headquarters, courtesy of Chick-fil-A. This initiative is aimed at showing community support and strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community.
