Beth Ann White has pre-trial hearing
SUMMARY: The defense in court today asked for the case to be taken to the Supreme Court and dismissed, but the judge denied the request and the trial of Beth Ann White will proceed. The case involves the November 2021 crash that killed Allison Conaway and her 6-month-old son, Alex. White has been convicted of DUI three times and is charged with aggravated DUI. The defense argued that the indictment was incorrect and motioned to dismiss, but the judge ruled against it. The state believes the defense is trying to delay the trial by seeking Supreme Court intervention. White's trial date is set to proceed.
